Our owner Leah has been working with flowers for 20 years. She started as a teenager after going to arts high school, where she studied sculpture, painting, and composition. After earning a creative advertising degree and spending a couple years in that field, she came back to floral design because it felt like the right fit.

Over the years, we've had some interesting opportunities: designing bouquets for National Ballet of Canada performances, creating arrangements for Toronto International Film Festival events, and once decorating a very tall Christmas tree for a Dragon's Den celebrity. Those experiences taught us a lot about working under pressure and paying attention to details.

What we focus on:

That arts background means we think about texture, color, and how everything works together. When someone has a specific vision (maybe something a little unconventional like flowers on a saddle or in cowboy boots), we're happy to figure it out.

Keeping flowers fresh:

We order flowers at least twice a week and keep our inventory manageable. If something's been here for about a week, we take it home or pass it along rather than let it sit. Customers often mention their arrangements lasted longer than expected, which makes us happy.

Leah designs most of the arrangements, so there's not much back-and-forth between what you ask for and what gets created.

Our St. Albert location:

We're at 20-504 St. Albert Trail, right beside Mary Brown's Chicken (near the Wendy's and Tim Hortons corner). Being close to St. Albert Hospital and near funeral homes like Ferguson's and Pinkle's means we handle a lot of get-well and sympathy orders. We understand those moments matter, and we do our best to get things right.
