Blossoms On The Trail is owner-designer Leah's flower studio at 20-504 St. Albert Trail, right beside Mary Brown's Chicken and a few minutes from St. Albert Hospital. Leah has worked with flowers for 20 years. She has designed the presentation bouquets National Ballet of Canada prima ballerinas held on stage, arrangements for Toronto International Film Festival events, and a 20-foot Christmas tree for Arlene Dickinson of Dragon's Den.
She started as a teenager after arts high school, where she studied sculpture, painting, and composition. After a creative advertising degree and a couple of years in that field, she came back to floral design because it felt like the right fit. Leah designs most of the arrangements that leave the shop herself, so there's not much back-and-forth between what you ask for and what gets created.
